Nature photographers delight in the diversity Oregon’s coast has to offer! There is something amazing for everyone, whether you’re interested in photographing landscapes or wildlife, ocean or forest, big scenes or tiny details.
Improve your photography skills with one-on-one training from professional photographer and naturalist Jaymi Heimbuch. Specializing in small-group or solo outings, we always include plenty of time for practice and questions while exploring the wild coastline.
Check iconic scenes off your must-see bucket list, and add unique shots to your portfolio as we go off the beaten path. We balance our photo trips with a mix of crowd-pleasing hotspots and carefully scouted quiet locations.
Jaymi Heimbuch, Guide and Photography Instructor
I am a professional wildlife conservation photographer and naturalist, with a passion for Pacific Northwest ecology and telling stories through photographs. My collaborative teaching style guides you in learning new technical skills in a light-hearted, engaging way. Every tour is infused with information about the locations, and the flora and fauna we’re photographing.
Our events are always designed to be small-group or solo outings, so that we can work closely together on exactly what you’d most like to learn, do, and see while visiting Oregon’s coast.
With a personal motto of “start with why”, my goal is to help you get beyond taking a picture of something, and instead craft a photograph about something. What better place to learn this than where grand conifer forests filled with elk, bobcats and bears, collide with rocky coasts teaming with seabirds, mollusks and anemones! It’s my hope that you leave as enthralled with this area as I am, and ready to come back for more images.
